Terms of sale

Last updated: April 2026. These terms govern purchases from Xtransit Records. They are a practical UK template, not legal advice — have them reviewed before use.

1. Who we are

The seller is SoundOnShape.com Ltd (company no. 16464812), trading as Xtransit Records, operating this website (“we”, “us”).

2. Our contract with you

When you place an order and we accept payment via Stripe, a contract is formed between you and us for the goods shown in your checkout, subject to availability. Descriptions, prices (including VAT where applicable), and postage are as shown at checkout before you pay.

3. Price and payment

Prices and delivery charges are calculated as shown on the site at checkout. Payment is collected by Stripe. You must provide accurate delivery and contact details. If we cannot supply an item (for example insufficient stock), we will refund the affected amount in line with our processes and the law.

4. Delivery

We will dispatch orders according to the fulfilment information shown on the site (including any stated dispatch windows). Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a fixed date. Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address you provided.

5. Right to cancel (distance and off-premises contracts)

If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA and the contract is a distance or off-premises contract, you normally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason (the “cooling-off” period), subject to exceptions in law (for example certain sealed goods once unsealed, where applicable).

To cancel, tell us clearly within the 14-day period (email or the contact details on the site, including the footer phone number). You must return the goods to us in good condition unless we agree otherwise or the law requires a different approach. We will refund payments received, including outbound delivery costs at the basic rate, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence you have sent them back, using the same means of payment where possible, unless you agree otherwise.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless the goods are faulty or not as described, or we offered free returns.

6. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (and equivalent protections where they apply), goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. If something is faulty or not as described, contact us with details. You may have the right to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund depending on the circumstances and timing.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). For consumers, statutory rights are not affected.

Subject to the paragraph above, our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where a higher limit is required by law.

8. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform where caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example postal strikes, severe weather, or supplier failure). We will try to minimise impact and contact you where practical.

9. Complaints

Contact us first using the phone number or email routes shown on the site. If you remain unhappy as a consumer, you may use an alternative dispute resolution body or, where applicable, the EU ODR platform — we will provide further information if required by law.

10. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
